This week (when it's barely over).. I've had people asking me this "ARE YOU PREGNANT?".
Whenever they say that I will question "Why? My tummy very big huh?" and they go "NoNoNo.. because..." (Check out the following responses:-
1. You eating sour plums mah ...
[Wah Liaozzzz.. that was given to me by my colleague who went to K.L recently & she knows I eat her sour plums to stay awake during 3pm at work!!]
2. You are wearing flat shoes which we have not seen you wore to work before.. especially consecutively for 2 days!
[Wah Liaozzz... I injured my toe once.. so I started wearing flats.. and I went to HK and bought 3 pairs of flats la... so I'm wearing it!!]
3. You looked thinner (their assumption of morning sickness & all that jazz that an expectant mother can't eat], you are eating sour plums..
[Wah Liaozzzz... I looked thinner (which I obviously don't think so) cos I just recovered from a bad bout of flu mah]
Win reh lor... Hehe.
It makes my hands itch to wanna post up this statement on facebook -> "Priscilla is expecting.....the weekend to arrive soon" or something along those lines to just see how many will throw tomatoes at me for being cheeky.
When I came back from my honeymoon, my Mum asked me "So how? Wu bo? (Have or not?).." I was like HUH? And she went on saying "Grandma also asked leh.. Grandma say cousin SO&SO married liao now expecting you know.. ".
I just rolled my eyes to China, sighed and walked away.
When I say something to the CG or my friends these days like "Guess what?" or "Good news!!!" their response is all the same. "You're expecting?". =.=!!!
Folks, fyi... babies do not come cheap. They consume more than an aeroplane for fuel, they can be noiser than sitting next to the wing on an aeroplane. They wail through the night and they crap on you just when you think they are cute.
Besides... no babies for the next 1 to 2 years for me eventhough the 4 months maternity from work may be nice BUT STILL, I'll have to work by looking after my child. So Hello!!! I JUST got married about 5+ months back! No babies for NOW...
Besides, like I always say "a kid.. (me) can't have another kid.."
I have a feeling alot of people would be bombarding me after this. Now, why can't I just order babies online via Amazon or something.. then it would be less painful!!!!! The thought of going into labour is like yikes!!!!
