A Closed Chapter.. A New Chapter Awaits...

A Closed Chapter.. A New Chapter Awaits...
Relief and free.. are the words right now that I can describe my current state. At 4:30pm today, after my last exam paper..... I felt relief and free.. A big stone lifted off my chest today. This is it. The last of the examination paper and I have come to the end of this education tunnel. A closed chapter (for now at least till I get my results in December..lol) This feeling is sensational...never felt this free for so long. I guess when the entire education course is paid out of your own pockets...and when you've come to the end of the course.. perhaps one can call it accomplishing a milestone. Till my results are out.. if I do pass and graduate.. this is one life goal I have come to achieve. And I need to thank God, my family, my churchmates, my colleagues, my friends, my boss & manager....everyone who have been so supportive in one way or another in helping me to accomplish this life goal. (sounds like the emmy's? haha) Lurve you guys!!!!!! *Big Hugz*

Looking back, I never thought that I would be able to attain a degree in my lifetime cos it was too costly. As much as I wanted it badly.. I could only dream and hope for a miracle. To many people obtaining a degree was as simple as ABC with their parents paying the bill. No offense.. that's almost a natural thing parents do for their kids. I won't say I am unlucky..but I just took a harder route. This harder route made me appreciate my degree even more. It did happen of cos..the Lord made it possible eventhough I had to fork it out of my own pockets. But the promotion I had earlier this year.. helped me big time in financing my studies. I'm grateful. Having a life goal achieved is really no easy feat and I am not giving myself credit here. I am giving it all to Him. I know I could never have done so if it weren't for Him leading me at every step till today..imagine..the last of my examination paper as compared to when 1.5years ago I was worrying my heart out if I could even obtain a degree given my financial status.

Another life goal that was achieved was traveling to Europe. Dreaming about it and talking about it were easy... saving up to go there while financing my studies was not. As I look back at the photos in my notebook..a wonderful warm feeling overcomes me. 2 life goals achieved in this 1.5years. Lord, I am very grateful to how You made all things possible in my life. In this 1.5 years, I made many new friends.. I have a wonderful church I can call my spiritual home, I have brilliant churchmates and have come to know a group of my coursemates that are now so dear to me..and also friends like Joan, Imelda, Donald kor, Tat Wang, Phyllis, Linda, Alex, Karine, Khanh.. All I can say is I'm truly blessed.

A new chapter awaits...what is the new chapter? I have no idea.. it depends.. have so many things on my mind that I would like to do now that time is once more on my side. Learn french? Learn driving? No idea.. will take things as it goes.. perhaps next year.. right now what I really want.. is to dwell in His presence and just bask in it. Anyway, right after my exams today... guess who I met?
I met my favourite interactive "toy" (without batteries)...check him out..

Isn't Tze Kang adorable?? He is sOoOoo chubby & cute and look at those pair of eyes! So handsome!! He is the proud product of my coursemate now dear friend, Serene and her husband Dan.

And after that I met KKPS for dinner at Mos Burger Taka and we hung out and chat till the cows came home. Then we went walking around a bit more and settled for dessert at this famous in Hong Kong mango pudding place call "Xu Liu Shan" in mandarin, behind Isetan Scotts and this was what I ordered:

Nice ain't it? Its called Mango Pudding with real mangos and Coconut Ice Cream covered with Mango Puree....*droolz* But the thing that topped the dessert and made it sweeter was becos KKPS was with me. And its truly the companions that makes a difference in your day, your meal, your outing.. That's all folks.. its blading day tomorrow for moi~ Adios, Amigos!

The single eye-lid suspect above is wanted for
"deceiving" her best friend, Pris of her feelings &
emotions. The suspect is approx. 1.66cm tall, tan,
looks 19 but is actually 26, sporty & can outrun any
man or animal (lol). Capable of mischief & usually gets
away with her grin like above.

~*~* Peter & Pris ~*~*

He's not my usual kind of guy.. but I decided to give it a shot after much consideration. It wasn't easy for me.. CS and Merv who were with me last Sunday when we met Peter. And CS even gave me feedback on him. Merv being merv.. did not say much. I was hesitant initially but decided that its about time I give others a chance.

Since last Sunday, Peter has accompanied me at every crucial stage of my final semester exams everyday. Everytime when I needed energy to continue with my studies...Peter was there for me. Although he is a tad different from my past...I have grown to like him. Everyone...meet Peter:

:::Happy, Sha La La:::

:::Happy, Sha La La:::
The song Happy is ringing non-stop in my head. Not sure if most of you know.. there was this annoying song that goes something like "Happy.. Sha la la.. it's so nice to be happy.. sha la la.. everybody should be happy..." Well if you shake ur head and say you don't know this song.. GOOD ON YA!!! Then it won't ring annoyingly in your head like it did in mine. Hahah

Anyway, yes.. I am very happy ... I am ecstatic today in fact! No, aside from me losing like half a kg.. as well.. hahaha.. okie.off track!! Hahah.. the thing that made me jumped is becos when I was checking my Student Portal Online today, I received news that 1 group assignment MS (Part 2) and an individual assignment - HRD, both received Distinction. WooOoHooOOo!!! Praise God!!

I could not believe my eyes as I plaster my eyeballs nearer the screen of my notebook and blinked a few times to ensure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. It goes like this -.- to o.o to O.O!! to ^.^ I can't post my results here cos the last time my coursemate Aston checked my website..he joked that I was showing off.. though he knew that I had to flashed my grades in order to claim my Macdonald's breakfast from Mr. JP Tan. There goes my half kg lost.. and where's my treat huh, JP? Mind you, I got excellent selective memory when it comes to such. Lol.

Just wanna thank God for his grace and mercy cos I know its because of His grace that I passed my assignments. Have yet to share this news with Donald kor. Though I know he is going to tease me about it again. Now there is more motivation for me to study. It is soooo difficult to study in such nice rainy weathers.. cos all I wanna do is sleep.. and you have NO IDEA how much I can sleep, people. All terrain sleeper.. anywhere.. anytime.. So its really tough for me to concentrate. Just for everyone who is concern.. yes... I have finished Chaper ONE of HRD. It took me a few lightyears to complete that chapter and now I am moving onto the next chapter which is Adult Learning... Bet they're gonna say Adult learning is SLOW cos Adults like to sleep alot.. or something along those lines. Off I go now... to mug. -.-!!! Ganbatte, PRIS THAM!!!!

Sha La La... Its so nice to be Happy... Sha La La.. Everybody should be happy...Sha La La

I Dread This...

Yes.. its that time again. Where you'll find me whining and complaining non-stop about how much I dread studying. If you don't wish to put yourself through this agony, please click elsewhere.

I pushed my leave forward to start from Tuesday onwards instead of this coming Friday in order to condition myself earlier to study. Knowing how much my engine needs to 'kickstart' before I can drag myself to open the necessary notes and textbook to mug.

Yesterday was the first day of my study leave and as expected, I received numerous messages from really nice people following up on my studies..asking me how's the progress. *Gulps*..What progress?! I have yet to organise my notes... Drats..

I'm supposed to start later on. YES.. I KNOW I HAVE TO.. Everytime I sit down look at my notes to mug..my thoughts start to drift to LaLa Land..thinking of what I'm going to do after my exams...how much I missed Europe & Blighty ... so decided to pose some pics of London here to reminisce my vacation earlier this year. I soooo need another vacation man. Bangkok, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia anyone? I dun mind any of these locations.. after my exams of cos.. hehehe..

Towerbridge. Gorgeous, isn't it?

Big Ben taken from London Eye

Full & partial view of London Eye per pictures below

Trafalgar Square & the tall column is called Nelson's Column. On top of it stands Napoleon.

Okie, enough blogging.. time for studies.. for real!!!!

Ms. Geek @Risk!

Ms. Geek!

This is me. Yesss.. believe or not, those who have yet to see my in my spectacles....in my new specs. I deliberately (the word is deliberate ya!) asked the salesgirl at the optical shop to let me try the nerdy frames. And I fell in love with this pair when I tried it on. It is dark green actually, not black. I wore my glasses last Sunday to church to the amazement of many people. hahah.. Most people think I look very different and some even thought I was new to church. Amazing how a pair of specs changed my outlook totally (to those who have not seen me in my glasses). Anyway, I know I look like a geek... hehe.. it's okie.. that is my goal when I bought the specs. This pic is taken and provided to me by the courtesy of Dirty Bear (a.k.a. Chang Shiung or Amleth for his blogpage). And its taken in Starhub Center's foodcourt.

At Risk!!
Went to Irving & TY's place after church for a good old game of Risk. I first played Risk in Europe this year & thoroughly enjoyed it. And decided to pit the afternoon out with Gabriel & Chang Shiung since we had nothing much to do. (It was also me trying to 'deny' myself of going home to study for my exams..OkOkok.. I know.. I need to study..) Anyway, while the 2 men crack their heads to attack each other.. Geeky me was sitting there enjoying the debate and their "spoken-aloud" tactics that the men were negotiating and using on each other. Although highly imvolved in their battles with each other, occassionally the men would glance up and see what kind of tactics I am pulling when its my turn. Of cos after a few seconds or so.. question marks start appearing over their heads and they go "Pris.. I have no idea what you're trying to do." And I would go "Don't tell you.." hehehehe... But in actual fact, was not quite sure of how I should approach my moves...LOL! Anyway, guess who won? Yeesss... Geeky me won Risk twice! The mission was to conquer any 24 territories and I did so .. See the pic? Where my army of green covers the globe? Lol. In fact, I could win twice is because both the men were busy fighting against each other and never bothered me... which was all good in my opinion. hahah..Chang Shiung said perhaps its my specs that made me look "innocent".. hahah.. NOT!

Happy Times with Girls!!

Tuesday, 11th October 2005:
Met my all time poly-best-bud Joan to croak our hearts out. It was a belated birthday celebration and we went to KBox @Marina Square. (Btw folks, Marina Square has been renovated till it's pretty sleek & alot of eateries there are not as crowded.. good gathering place!)
We arrived at 645pm and started croaking our hearts out and though there was only the 2 of us, we never fail to have fun. It's been like this since Poly days. Just the 2 of us and yet we make lots of noise and laugh our way through.
It felt great to be with one of my best-bud again.. everytime I meet Joan, I still Thank God for bringing her back to me (we lost contact for many years after poly). Not only was it good to be croaking ur throats out with a good companion, it was excellent having a microphone all to yourself without having to share. Hhahhah.. if you've been to karaoke, you know how boring it can get if the microphone's not in your hands man.
After singing through numerous (yes, I lost count..) songs, while Joan was singing half way I asked her "Eh, how come you know so many mandarin songs? And how come your mandarin so good now? Can read the mandarin words on the screen so well.. Thought your mandarin sucks big time previously?" She smiled, gave her O.O Joan look and said "dunno.. maybe cos watch too many mandarin series?" I choked and said "You? watching mandarin series? Unbelieveable." And then I continued singing and then it was her turn and I was 'punching' in more songs to sing.
This time round, while I was singing half way.. Joan said to me "Eh, then how come you know so many mandarin songs also? Your mandarin also cannot make it wan what.." I looked at her and said "I just listened to my other friends when they sing in Karaoke lor. But then again.. my mandarin still sucks what.. " We looked at each other and just laughed.. hahaha.. very typical us.
We sang from 645pm... all the way till 1145pm. Went back, shacked... went to comp.. switch on and the whole vicious cycle of being addicted to the internet begins once again. :)

Thursday, 13th October 2005:
Chat with Karine today and she gave the site to her blog. After reading her blog, somehow or rather it felt as though I have known her for years and my sentiments were felt exactly like how she felt. Though we only started talking recently after our DnD performance this year, it felt really comfortable talking to her. And I don't know why.. the more I talked to her..the more I feel that she is someone who has a big, big heart and that she would end up being one of my good girlfriends. There are some people.. that I just gelled with from the start and one of the cases was Koh WeiPing (a.k.a. Apple by me cos of his rosy cheeks). And I had the same feeling with Karine. Anyway, I'm glad to have made a new friend...whether or not it blossomed further.
Tonight, met Elaine and TY for dinner and catching up session. Hehe.. I told TY before, Shepherd meet Sheep and sheep meet sheeplet? Then TY said nope..not sheeplet.. lamb u mean? Oh..yah.. duh me!!!! lol.
The girls had a good time catching up and laughing about stuff. It was good to know Elaine better on a personal level. It was also good catching up with TY and (Ashley - in TY's tumtum..haha). 2 nights of happy times with gals!!

:::Children's Day BBQ:::

::: ChiLDreN's DaY BBQ:::

Had a wonderful children's day this year. We had a BBQ over at Yilin's. Yilin is the sweet, fair gal with me in the 1st top pic.

2nd pic is of me pretending to hold an "award" in her room. One of Yilin's friend framed a pic of a male model/celebrity's bod for her as a gift for her birthday! (Btw.. Yilin...You have a very, very nice room!)

Bottom pic is Patrick, Me & my BBQed Marshmallows & Claire. What's a BBQ without marshmallows! We had so much fun marinating the food, eating, playing taboo and just catch up and chill out with each other.. hehe.. .Lurve these people!

:::On A Separate Note:::
Received a call earlier from Darryl. Very surprising.. as he calls me from Perth once in a few blue moons.. I have yet to check out if the moon's blue tonight but it was nice of him to call and catch up with me. We had our usual long chats updating each other. We talked about the everything.... his work, my work, his life, my life, his plans, my plans, his work again, my school, his goals, my goals, and then somehow the conversation led to the Holy Spirit and we talked more about that. Never talked about such stuff much to Darryl. But it was a good conversation as he re-assured me that everything will happen in due time with regards to the Holy Spirit. Sigh.. I miss such talks with Darryl. Happy to hear from him .. glad to know that I have another friend who's gonna build his own house and I've been invited over when it's ready...too many friends in Aussie already though (hehe).. I just need A FRIEND IN JAPAN and SPAIN!! hahah... I'll surely crash in at their place when I visit. Lol.

Brian De Souza

Was walking home happily ^.^ after work from Newton MRT yesterday when one guy walked passed me and from the side of my eye.. I saw him glancing at me. Then he paused. It was a -.- to O.O!! reaction from him.

I turned to see who he is cos I could see him from the side of my eye mah.. then I went from ^.^ to O.O!!! as well.

Who was it? It wass...... BRIAN DE SOUZA!!! My polymate whom I have not seen.. since.. well.. tertiary graduation. We chat and I asked where he was heading to and he said 'Alliance Francaise [think maybe wrong spelling.. hahah but its the french school near my house]'. We chat and it was really nice seeing him after sooo long.

As we chat, I laughed and laughed cos this bloke, never change!! Still as hilarious and mischievious as ever!! We agree to meet up more often after exchanging numbers and I commented that he looked so weird without his braces!! (This is one guy, who will take out his retainers or braces and put it in his orange juice and drink his orange juice in front of all of us..cos according to him, it taste better without his retainers..) Brian's reply to my comment? 'More handsome now right?' *Cheeky grin from Brian* Hahaha.. it's good to know that somethings never change..
Good to have another ol'friend back.

4. Roy Chiu (See Daniel Wu's reason above)

5. Brad Pitt

6. Jude Law

7. Leslie Cheung

Seven wishes/dreams of mine:

1. To be a travel host

2. To be a newscaster

3. To be Daniel Wu's wife!!!! (It's more like a fantasy alright?! heheh)

4. To go and have fun on all the fantastic rides in a six flags theme park with my friends and love one

5. To drive and own a luxury car (I think an audi TT is a luxury to me already for now.. or perhaps a BMW 6 series)

6. To have my own house in Canada or Europe

7. See number 1 again! hehehe..

Seven things you probably don't know about me:

1. I accidentally kicked a boy's crotch while playing with him on the school bus when I was in primary 3 (This is where the guys go... *OUCH*)

2. I copied in geography and mandarin tests in secondary school (So shoot me!!!! hehehe)

3. I used to hate being a woman in my younger days thanks to period. Now I like being a woman cos there are many times.. a woman can get away with just battering her eyelids, and periods are now good excuses to binge on chocolates and throw tantrums and the opposite sex have no idea why but to simply shut up and understand.

4. I hate lizards, snails, snakes, fishes, anything rubbery like or scaly like.

5. I watch cartoons to this day.. and do not plan to stop

6. I much prefer shy and quieter men .. (hehehe..cos I am extroverted.. if both extroverted.. who listen to who?) and its an added incentive if they have sharp nose and a good sense of humour. (Quieter doesn't mean cannot joke can!! Dun be silly, people!! hehe)

7. I do have violent tendencies every now and then in my head.. hahaha..especially when I encounter the following people:

-Boasting idiots with zero I.Q or E.Q

-Sluggards on my team

-Sluggards who know they are sluggards but thinks the world owes them a living on my team

-People with zero E.Q are worse than people with zero I.Q

-Dictators who tell me how to run MY blog and how to run MY life according to them (Let's see how they react when their mothers breathe down their necks and dictate running their lives. Perhaps some people enjoy that like Mama's boy or Daddy's girl.. but I certainly don't!)

-Boasting idiots who contradict their own boasting..(Okie I beta stop here before the list breaks into another blog entry..lol)

2-0, 2-0

I had a hectic day on Monday. I felt so "popular" when I logged onto my office email, had tons of "fan mail" from my "ardent expats".... SiGh!!! That's what happens when you are so "popular".

Was concentrating hard on some of the emails.... of late I realised that I have a lot of "high maintenance" expats.. who ask for the world.. when their company pays (I cannot say peanuts already thanks to TT Durai) .. okie lemme rephrase.. when their company is a scrooge.
Half way thru my work.. had to leave my desk for the upcoming D&D rehearsal. Yes... I am in it. Not telling you what role I play!!!

Anyway ... lemme fast forward to what's 2-0, 2-0.
This day is going to go down in my history. I am so gonna boast to my grandkids next time.. "hey your grandma, whipped some guy's ass in a pool competition!" haha.. but of cos.. seriously .. it was cos the Lord is with me. Went to the pool competition held at Marina Square Super Bowl. This is an annual CPA competition amongst the big 4 and other financial institutions and its my FIRST time playing in a serious competition, representing my firm!

We were practicing halfway when a group of men representing ?PMG (Need to protect name.. hahah) came and saw us gals playing. I was with Liz and Angie. And they just played amongst themselves and they were real GOOD. Soon, the representatives from the rest of the big 4 firms came.

Compeition started. There was 5 sets in 1 match. 1 match will have 5 different players. And each player is supposed to play 3 rounds and the winner would be the best of 2 rounds of cos!! Duh!! Hehe. Alex was representing my group first. I just got to know Alex from GFS .. nice chap.. cool guy. I didn't wanna watch the match at all as it made me even more nervous.. so I continued practicing with Liz and Angie. Angie was number 2 player and I was number 3. Liz was representing us but another team. When it was the girls turn to play, we found out that the nerdy yet SNOBBISH men from ?PMG REFUSES TO PLAY WITH US GIRLS!!! Oh those MCPS!! *grumbles* Why? Cos we are GIRLS!! The nerve of those snobs!! U pay me to play with them I would sooO think twice!! Reputation at stake!!

So anyway, we ended playing with the other 2 more gentlemanly firms *Applause goes to such gentlemanly local guys who are like a rare sight these days!!* and it turn out nice. When it was my turn, I was almost peeing in my pants (well actually I was wearing a skirt.. cos I didn't know it was the actual day of the competition) and butterflies in my stomach. Played with this guy called Adrian. I was thinking on my toes all the time. Snook him, how to play from here? What should I play? How should my facing be? But I decided to forget about all those and said "Lord, I dedicate this game to You".

Every time I played, I asked the Lord: "You with me? You with me?" I heard a firm "Yes, right beside you" in my heart and with each shot, I putted a ball. Though there were times I didn't pocketed a ball, the poor bloke, Adrian was errr.. nervous? I dun know.. cos I saw his fingers shaking.. Poor thing! I don't bite!! Hehe.. Anyway, the 1st round, we ended up fighting for black and he pocketed the black......... in the wrong pocket, so I won. Praise God! 2nd round, I kindof thrash him and I pocketed the black ball with a double shot. I saw the guys around me drop jaws.. I heard *gasps* I felt good.. and I told the Lord: "Yes!! Thank Youuuuuuuuu" So it was my first 2-0.

The next round, strangely... we had to play against my own company but another team..and I played with a very petite girl who was cute and steady. first round was a bit long for me.. cos she took some time to decide what she wanna play. But that's ok.. it gave me time to look around to see the rest of the people who were competing nearby. Anyway, I won Mohan (? think thats her name..) in the first round and in the second round.. I was consistent and pocketed 5 balls in a single shot (What did I tell ya about having the Lord with you? ;> ) and won 2-0. I won't come back for the 2nd round of pool.. cos I have got DnD rehearsals.. but it felt really good.. to play in competitve mode.. and a bunch of strangers.. oh yah and not forgetting a handful of snobs.

StUPiD OR WhAT?!

StUPiD OR WhAT?!

Was talking to Lien and HB today in the office.. well.. we needed a break..Mind you!

And somehow the conversation led to about this guy who replied in the newspaper (Don't ask me what newspaper and which article.. go find it yourself) about some article commenting on how vulnerable marriages are thesedays.

His reply was since marriages are so vulnerable these days.. and that women kindof always gain from the divorce (e.g. Divorce alimony for the wife, or in this case.. ex-wife) and he went on to comment without using much of his brains to say that:

"There should be some clauses in the marriage certificate or regulations to allow men to satisfy their sexual desires and urge.." (It gets better from here..) "And I know that by saying this, I MAY raise controversy".

When I heard that comment I was like O.O?!?! "Say what?!" I mean that's
unbelievable! Is he stupid or what?!?!!

Not that I am a feminist or anti-men or I like slamming such men down. (Note: I said SUCH men.. if you leave me comments in my blog later saying NOT ALL MEN ARE LIKE THAT!!! I will ask you to refer to the title of this blog entry - STUPID OR WHAT?!)

I mean c'mon, that fella sure wasn't thinking or exercising his brains when he said that!! He was probably thinking with his crotch or dick to be more precise, instead of his head! Like hello!! It's a no wonder people come up with terms like 'dickheads!!'

If that dickhead would only pause and think reaaally hard enough with whatever he
had for a brain.. why would he wanna say that? By saying that, he basically:

1. Doesn't understand the true meaning of marriage (Trust & Commitment?)

2. Shows he is a dickhead and is a MCP

3. Doesn't respect women and that includes his mother. If he does respect his mother.. he won't comment or even think of such absurd ideas..cos suppose his own Dad is not committed to his Mum in marriage and contracted some illness and terminal disease and pass it onto his Mum? And both dies and left him alone??? Use your BRAIN can?! Not your dick!

4. Doesn't know the meaning of equality in today's society (Note: DO NOT GET ME WRONG... I do agree to a certain extend that women and men are not equal especially in terms of brute strength.. but doesn't mean he can propose for such clauses.. women can't?) He probably thought with his dick that women these days won't follow what he do? PUHHH-LEEASEEE!!! Wake up to reality!!! Monkey see.. monkey do can!!! And doesn't he know hell have no scorn like a woman's fury? Stupid or What?!!

Dickheads like him should all be banished to a totally desserted Island call Survivor Shallow, where they "Out-ego, Out-stupid, Out-dick" the rest of the contending dickheads and never to set foot again on our shores. The world is small enough and we are already running out of resources and are stress enough with our daily lives.. we don't need stupid dickheads like these to further mess with our next generation!!

I Need An Outlet

It's 1.06am.. I need an outlet.. I need to blog.
Too little time
Too many things.. on my mind..
I need an outlet.. I need to blog!!
School work is killing me
Lecturers looked at our project.. and disagree..
I need an outlet.. I need to blog!!
Alot of school projects are soon to be due
I am researching on articles and infomation.. till I'm turning blue...
I need an outlet.. I need to blog!!
I laugh at anything now simply to destress
It may be silly but that's how I function and progress...
I need an outlet.. I need to blog!!
Somehow the Lord reassured me
That all is in good hands .. I just have to commit everything to thee...
I need an outlet badly.. and my outlet is the Lord!!
AMEN!!!

Things that make me go Uuurrgghh & Tsssk!!!

1. Slapping on moisturisers in the bathroom and finding out I have difficulty opening the bathroom door (UUrrggghhh!!)

2. Typing an intense email to be sent to a complaining client and was about to hit 'Send' when the powers in the office trip (Urrrgggghh!!)

3. Trying on a pair of nice cool sunglasses in the departmental store and there's a huge price tag dangling from the middle of the sunglasses when I checked myself in the mirror. (Tsssssk!!)

4. Being pushed and shovelled at by men and women in nice work attires at the MRT stations and as they push you to get to the other side to change train lines, they turn around and TSSSSK at me though they were the ones pushing me! (Uuurrgghh!)

5. Trying to pluck an annoying 'outstanding' white hair and ended up plucking a black one.. (Tsssssk!!) and the white one still standing there (UUrrgghh!)

6. Spotting a very cute guy on the train with the kindof sharp nose that is 'to-die-for!!' only to see him digging his nose later with his longer-than-mine fingernail of his last finger.. Eeeeyeeeww..(Uurrrggghh.. + puke)

7. Full time students in my lectures that sits in front, behind, to my left, to my right and all around me and my coursemates providing "surround sound" talking about Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Andy Lau, non-stop. (Tsssk!!) AND worst of all, to be called by my lecturer to answer questions when I didn't even talk in class! (Uuurrgggh!)

8. Girls with super duper long hair standing closely in front of you, next second you know, their hair just practically slaps you in the face.. when they sweep it to one side.. (Tssssk!!!)

9. Copycats who copycat me from head to toe. Hello! I don't mind sharing fashion tips and stuff.. but not head to toe can!! I don't need a mini-me and am not prepared for a clone!! (Double uurrrggghh!)

10. Being called by lecturer in class to answer questions.. (I was paying full attention, mind you) and coursemates say lecturer's trend is that he likes to spot people who are brightly dressed and call upon them. Next lecture, I wear GREY & BLACK, again I was called. (Uuurrgghhh!)

11. Guys who filled the MRT cabin with their "Can Kill Girls (and elephants as well) With One Whiff Of This" cologne that smells really bad when mixed with their perspiration. (Sorry.. this is not uurrgghh nor tsssk... it's bleeehhhh...)

12. Guys who alight at their MRT destination but their "Can Kill Girls (again, not forgetting the elephants as well) With One Whiff Of This" cologne lingers on.. (Tsssk!)

13. Male van drivers who when their vans stop at traffic lights, wind down their windows to not only gawk but "Tssk tssking" at you to catch your attention. (UUrrgghh!!)

Priorities

Priorities
Won't you come and have a good talk with me?
Pass a little moment by....
I'm your friend, your listener...
You're always busy..but won't you even try?

Won't you come and spend some time with me?
I'm waiting here for you day by day...
I want so much to get close to you
But you seem to push me far away...

Won't you hold my hand & follow me?
I want to guide you all the way...
It hurts to see you tired & struggling,
disappointed & even in dismay...

You need to know your priorities
What's important versus urgency...
You need to open up to me...
Just trust in me...I won't let go... this I guarantee.

This poem is dedicated to God. Telling me to spend more time with Him and in His presence. Work and final semester of school has caught up with me .. so much so that my priorities are kindof not aligned with Him. Lord, I miss You very much and I wanna re-aligned myself with you again.

Help me to prioritise You first and everything else in my life after You. I need to learn to trust that when I walk close and walk right with You, you're in charge and everything will always turn out fine.
